How does heated desiccant air dryer work?

Heatless dryer uses the pressure swing adsorption. But heated purge air dryer is different. Besides PSA principle, it also uses the temperature swing adsorption technology. During adsorption, the desiccant absorbs moisture from the air. It reduces its humidity. During desorption, it restores the dry state of desiccant by heating and purge. Thus it is ready to adsorb moisture again.

The heating method generally adopts electric heating. Heating temperature is automatically controlled by the controller.
